While we can’t believe it’s already November, we’re feeling very thankful for all the awesome shows this month.
This week, we’ve got six nights of R&B, jazz & hip hop with pianist, composer and producer, Robert Glasper. The four-time Grammy nominee is hitting Blue Note Jazz Club Tuesday-Sunday.
We hope everyone is having a great weekend and is as pumped as we are for this fall weather and all the awesome artists we have playing this month.
First, start this week off with some badass ladies of indie pop, Boy Genius w/ MUNA, at Madison Square Garden on Monday. Then, we’ve got the Southern California rock band, Sun Room, at Webster Hall on Thursday. We’re giving away tickets to some lucky groovers, so be sure to enter to win here by Tuesday! This weekend, head back to MSG for South African DJ, record producer & songwriter, Black Coffee, on Saturday.
We hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend and is as pumped as we are for all the awesome shows in September!
This week, the legendary rock band, Eagles, are kicking off their final tour. After over half a century of making music, they begin “The Long Goodbye” at Madison Square Garden on Thursday and Friday, so don’t miss your last chance to hear “Hotel California” live.
Somehow it’s already August and we hope everyone’s been enjoying all the groovy times. We’ve got a ton of great artists coming this month to keep the summer vibes strong.
This week, catch some outdoor vibes with the British electronic group, Jungle, doing a DJ set on the Elsewhere Rooftop on Thursday. On Friday, head back for the sister duo, Coco & Breezy, blending house, R&B, pop and Afro-Latino vibes.
July is stacked with so many great artists to keep you groovin’ through this summer.
This week, head to the Rooftop at Pier 17 for some reggae rock vibes, with Rebelution on Thursday and Friday. For some jazz, funk, R&B and soul-inspired brass music, check out Dirty Dozen Brass Band, celebrating over 40 years since their founding at Blue Note Jazz Club on Thursday-Sunday.
Summer is here, and we are so stoked for all the artists coming in June. June is pride month, and there’s a ton of great shows celebrating, including Planet Pride Festival, with Gorgon City, Gareth Emery and Coco & Breezy, at Brooklyn Mirage, or Dreamland: Pride in Central Park with Purple Disco Machine. June also marks the beginning of SummerStage, the seasonal outdoor venue in Central Park.
In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to shout out all the badass women playing in NYC this month. First, we’ve got the French band, Yelle, lead by singer, Julie Budet, bringing their electro-pop vibes to Elsewhere. Later this month, we’ve got the incredible rock goddess, Abby Jeanne, opening for Ghost Funk Orchestra at Mercury Lounge. ICYMI, we got the chance to catch up with her last summer. Check out our interview here.
We hope everyone had a great start to 2023. February’s a short month, but we’ve got a ton of awesome artists coming to keep you groovin’ all four weeks. First, we’ve got the NYC-bred six-some, Tilden, coming to The Broadway. We caught up with them before their debut headline show at TV Eye last summer and we’re so excited they’re back and rocking in NY again. Check out our interview with them here.
Kick off this week with American alt/R&B musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, Steve Lacy, at Terminal 5 on Monday. After joining The Internet in 2014, he co-produced their Grammy-nominated album, Ego Death, while still in high school. Needless to say, he’s seriously talented, and we know this will be great show.
While we can’t believe we’re halfway through 2022, we are pumped for all the shows this month has to offer. If you’re feeling some outside vibes on your day off, then head to Knockdown Center to check out the Berlin house collective, Keinemusik. All five members will be there, and groovin’ in the sunshine feels like a fitting way to celebrate America’s bday.
We made it through another year together, and we couldn’t have done it without this community and the return of live music. While we’re hopeful that we can continue to enjoy shows together safely, we encourage our community to do what’s best for you and those around you. And if you need help selling tix, let us know!
