In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to shout out all the badass women playing in NYC this month.
First, we’ve got the French band, Yelle, lead by singer, Julie Budet, bringing their electro-pop vibes to Elsewhere.
Later this month, we’ve got the incredible rock goddess, Abby Jeanne, opening for Ghost Funk Orchestra at Mercury Lounge. ICYMI, we got the chance to catch up with her last summer. Check out our interview here.
Then, catch British singer and keyboardist, Hollie Cook, at Elsewhere. After working with the punk/reggae band the Stilts, she released her first solo album, Vessel of Love, in 2018 and has been touring and producing since. We’re particularly exited to hear her new album, Happy Hour, live.

And, finally, catch the multi-talented British pop sensation, Raye, at Music Hall of Williamsburg. At only 25, she’s already amassed over three billion streams worldwide, worked with artists like John Legend, Khalid & Beyoncé, and won the BMI Impact Award for her “ground-breaking artistry, creative vision and impact on the future of music.”
