Galactic took over Brooklyn Bowl for two sold out nights in a row. The legendary funk band, known for their soulful song selection and electrifying performances, proved once again why they’re a must-see act in the live music scene. The insanely talented New Orleans-based band delivered nothing short of a crowd pleasing set. Each member brought their A-game, from Stanton Moore’s explosive drum solos to Ben Ellman’s soul-stirring saxophone riffs, but the real show stealer is the front woman and lead singer: Anjelika Jelly Joseph

The band played for nearly two hours straight, blending jazz, rock, and hip hop elements. Their song  “Ready Already,” available on Spotify, set the tone for the evening with its funky grooves and catchy lyrics. Fans were treated to a mix of classic hits and fresh tunes, each one amping up the energy in the room.

Galactic’s night at Brooklyn Bowl was a celebration of music’s power to unite, inspire, and get us all groovin’. Their enduring appeal, grounded in their New Orleans heritage and open-hearted collaboration, left everyone on the dance floor with a smile on their faces.
