Built in French Renaissance revival style, Kings Theatre was meant to be one of Loew’s Movie Theatre chain’s five lavish “movie palaces” in New York City. After closing in 1977 and subsequently deteriorating for decades, the theater eventually underwent significant renovations in the early 2010’s to restore its original beauty whilst adding modern technology. It officially reopened as a concert venue in 2015 and has hosted a variety of concerts, plays, and other live performances since then.
The Castello Plan – Named after Manhattan’s first map, The Castello Plan is a cozy, candle-lit spot serving craft cocktails, comforting food (don’t sleep on the galactic nachos), and a cozy atmosphere.
