Spanning an entire block in East Williamsburg, Avant Gardner is a massive complex that includes three different spaces. These are Brooklyn Mirage, a massive open air space, the Great Hall and The Kings Hall, two smaller indoor warehouse style venues. With all these areas together, Avant Gardner is the second largest entertainment venue in Brooklyn and has a perfect space for every genre.
Honey’s– IFKYK, but if you don’t yet, just know that mead kinda like sweet n’ funky wine, and Honey’s is one of the few places in the city that makes it well. There’s a great rooftop (that feels like your artist friend’s apartment in Bushwick) where you can often catch local DJs spinning, a small bar inside, and a massive Meadery lit up by a disco ball where you’ll also find cool release parties, community events, and more. Open: Daily 5pm-12am. 93 Scott Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237. 7 min walk to Brooklyn Mirage/Avant Gardner.
Jupiter Disco – In that moment when you’re leaving the show and there’s no way you can go home yet, look no further than Jupiter Disco to keep the party going and dance into the night. This tiny, retro/sci-fi-themed spot delivers big vibes with an awesome weekly round up of NYC’s best DJs and the most creative cocktails. Note: sometimes there is a small cover on popular nights. Open: Tues-Weds & Sun 6pm-2am, Thurs-Sat 6pm-4am; closed Mon. 425 Troutman St, Brooklyn, NY 11237. 10 min walk to Brooklyn Mirage/Avant Gardner.
