history
The building where Knockdown Center is located was originally a glass factory, and later, a door factory owned by Samuel Sklar. Eventually, when the factory was no longer being used, it fell into the hands of Sklar’s son, David. After originally hoping to selling the property, David converted the space to what it is today in 2012, and the Knockdown Center now hosts a variety of events from exhibitions, concerts, and public events.
ECB – A casual neighborhood joint that serves wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizzas, burgers & craft cocktails. You may turn into a repeat customer, because as they say, “everybody comes back” aka ECB ;).
